In 2015, The Parliament of World Religions held the Inaugural Women’s Assembly. This Assembly fulfilled the vision held by Parliament Vice Chair Phyllis Curott since the first modern Parliament in 1993 and launched the global initiative for human rights and spiritual leadership of women. Now, the Parliament of World Religions is meeting in Metro Toronto Convention Center in Toronto, Canada from November 1 – November 7. During this event, the Women’s Task Force will extend the Parliament’s legacy with a series of programs entitled The Dignity of Women Across the World’s Wisdom Traditions and Society.
I’m Phyllis Curott, an author, speaker, and interfaith activist, and one of the first public Wiccan priestesses in the U.S. I hope you enjoy my blog, and I look forward to your comments.
I’ll be in touch with you about events, workshops, and publications as well as sending out Weekly Words of Wisdom and Sabbat newsletters.
Together, we can remove the blindfold and reconnect with the Divine within us all.
