Violence Against Women as a Public Health Crisis: What Religious Communities Must Do?

Parliament session featuring Phyllis: At the 2015 and 2018 Parliament of the World’s Religions, presenters explored the role that religious leaders could and should play in alleviating violence against women. This challenge becomes even more critical and dire in that violence against women is a public health crisis across the world. This session features speakers from the US, Africa, and South Asia.
